How to use: Insert the wooden pick securely into a firm section of the cake. Keep the candle away from paper toppers, flowers, ribbons and other flammable decorations. Light only when everyone is ready to celebrate. Keep the flame under continuous adult supervision and extinguish immediately after photos and birthday wishes. How to get the best burn
The first burn. Let the wax melt all the way to the edges — usually 2–3 hours. Wax has a memory, and that first full pool keeps your candle from tunneling later.
Trim the wick. Trim to about 1/4 inch before each light for a clean, even flame, and keep sessions to 2–4 hours. Our full candle care guide covers troubleshooting too.
